What I Learned in June (Part 2)

  1. I definitely need to get back into writing more. I’m trying to do camp nanowrimo with a goal of 15000 words, which is almost 500 each day. So far, failing miserably but not completely empty. Writing is definitely a muscle that needs exercise. And mine needs to go for a walk.

By the way, I love all your book-ish posts. And you can never buy too many books (says the person who now needs a fifth bookshelf in her room if she gets any more books).

    1. I really wanted to do Camp NaNoWriMo this month, but I failed miserably. I haven’t even logged in, or touched my manuscript. (Cringes) 500 words a day is an awesome goal! I think I’m going to steal that as my target. Goodness knows I need to get these writing muscles back in shape!

I’m so happy you’re enjoying my flood of bookish posts! Knowing that makes my day 😀 A fifth bookshelf sounds glorious. I think I’m going to try to cram a third one into my tiny little room.

  2. My main goal for July is to start growing my blog followers, now that I have some existing content. I’d love to connect with others who have similar personal blogs, but it’s time-consuming to find them.

My other goal is to finish a couple of short stories in July and to get a handle on this whole “becoming a mother” thing. 🙂

    1. Hi Lauren! Sorry I’m so terribly late at replying. I was away for a while, and I’m just catching up now. 🙂
I love your goal on growing blog followers! One of my favorite things about the blogging world is the connections I get to make with other writers. You’re definitely right, though- it takes a lot of time to find those people! Thanks for being a follower here; it means so much. You have a reader for your blog in me, too. 🙂

Best wishes on being a mum! ❤ It's the most important job in the world, and I'm so happy for you.

  3. I have to agree with that best friends part. Our sleepovers are the best! Talking, laughing, making fun of chick flicks, eating insane amounts of snack food–who could ask for more?
